So like. I made a (comic book). Not like an idea for a (comic book), or a sketch of some pages...like, an actual (comic book). The initial chapter is cleaned up, inked, and in print(!) somehow. I feel as though I dropped the ball by not pulling myself away from working on said project to tell people on various websites about it sooner.
So anyway, about my (comic book):
The main character, Blake, has just started attending a new school that has an unusual pastime. Using the mysterious magic items known as ArtSeeds, the students face off in competitions where they fight by bringing their art to life! The problem is, Blake isn't a great artist

Comi-KROC was an absolute blast. I learned a lot, met plenty of interesting people, and got to get my name (and my art!) out there for the world to see.
Of course, now I want more.
I plan to get back to practicing my art so I can make this whole "artist's alley" deal a regular thing. I'd love to do fanart, OCs, sell prints, publish my original works, and even try my hand at commissions. Now I just need to convince myself to pick up that pencil/stylus/etc every day.
That's always been the tricky part.

I still can't believe all the things that have been happening lately. I've been invited to host a panel at this year's Comi-KROC convention!! I found out about this at the beginning of the week, but I was too busy being blown away to really say anything about it.
I've got a Powerpoint for the presentation pretty much ready to go (thanks to ~CelesSetzer (https://www.deviantart.com/celessetzer) !) Now I just need to update some of my projects, actually CREATE some art that's worthy of some kind of a portfolio, and make sure I don't go mad before the event starts.
Hope to see anyone who's interested at the KROC center in Suisun on the 15th!
